Who I am
I am an experienced Instructional Designer passionate about creating engaging and effective learning experiences based on the ADDIE model. My background in project management, training and facilitation has honed my skills in implementing eLearning, ILT and vILT training to address learner needs. By developing instructional strategies, and leveraging emerging technologies, I bring content to life.
What I love to do
When I'm not designing, I love to explore the world and experience new cultures through travel. There's so much to learn from the world and various cultures around us. Whether visiting religious temples, trying new foods, immersing myself in local customs, or walking miles through markets, being a global citizen keeps my heart and mind open.
Dancing & Performing
Salsa dancing has been a major part of my life as a hobby and social aspect. From the very first beginner's lesson over 20 years ago, I was hooked and never looked back! Fast forward to being captain of multiple performance teams, traveling to perform on countless stages and then becoming a beginner's instructor. Salsa dancing has allowed me to discover my self-expression and what it truly means to be present.
Knowing when to follow and when to lead is an art form. Collaboration is critical to accomplishing any goal as a team. Effective communication, always looking for the gold in what other people say, and empowering them to contribute. Being committed to everyone winning and fostering a positive environment where people will give their best. These are just a few of the profound lessons learned during my dance years which in turn elevated by career.
